I begin almost every single day the same way. I open my curtains, turn on all the lights in the living room, pour coffee into my perfectly shaped, perfectly sized mustard-yellow mug, and I turn on this song.
It's been months and months since I first downloaded it, and it is still at the top of its playlist on my iPod. I sit on the far side of my couch, with my back up against the arm, and I sip and listen in the sunlight.
Violins, worshipful lyrics, coffee, sunlight - it all makes for very happy mornings. Give a listen, just the first 15 seconds can make your heart feel full.

My favorite line is, "No higher mind/No not one." I love the thought that God's wisdom is supreme, His knowledge is infinite. No one can out-question or out-philosophize Him. He knows everything, so His Word is true. His guidance is true. His way is right. Everyone else is operating on less than perfect information. There is no higher mind, no not one.
And of course, "There has never been a greater love than Your Son, no not one."
Jesus is the DEFINITION, the epitome, the manifestation of love. There has never been a greater love, no not one.
Thanks to Christy Nockles and Brandon Heath for writing such a great song! (Brandon Heath's version is also sensational, and better, I think, for driving late at night with a cup of decaf...)
"No better word than from your lips No perfect life than what you lived No greater gift, no not one
No brighter star has ever shined No better hope for all mankind No higher mind, no not one
No one has ever known This kind of love you’ve shown
There has never been a greater love Than your Son, no not one And there will never be a name above No, not one. With his life you have forgiven us Hope has come, hope has come And there will never be a greater love No, not one.
No image true or sweeter frame No simple word can match your name No greater fame No not one.
No one has ever seen The depth of your majesty
There has never been a greater love Than your Son, no not one And there will never be a name above No, not one. With his life you have forgiven us Hope has come, hope has come And there will never be a greater love No, not one.
No greater call, You gave us all a reason to live. No greater love, You gave us all a reason to give. No greater life, You gave us all a reason to shine. No greater love Forever mine!"
